Nov. 6, 2009 - Sedona Today's musical score: "I am a Rock"
by Simon & Garfunkel
Wouldn't you like to see the photos? This computer does not have the camera software, so photos will be uploaded next time.
Today's grateful list:
I am grateful for
living on a continent of biodiversity
people like Richard, the volunteer at the Sedona info center -- full of dry wit
smiles
Favorite sign = "Big Ass BBQ Steakhouse"
Sedona is a beautiful, upscale, small city situated in the midst of large red sandstone formations which have been given names such as, "the Bell Rock". The colors and architecture of the buildings in Sedona compliment the earth tones which surround them. Traffic is slow due to the speed limits and the roundabouts built into the roadways.
We are staying in a less than notable hotel -- quiet, clean, compact!
Due to a late, large lunch at one of the upscale breweries in Sedona, dinner consisted of a simple appetizer.
